Review: OCC Lip Tars

OCC Lip Tars är som riktigt koncentrerade flytande läppstift, som beskrivningen säger läppstift i form av läppglans. Man behöver otroligt lite för att få ett riktigt täckande resultat, dock varierar den behövda mängden lite beroende på vilken färg man använder. Lip tarsen finns i 40 olika färger och det bästa med dem är nog att man kan blanda dem för att få exakt den färg man vill ha! Hur bra är inte det? Jag antar att jag fortfarande är lite barnslig av mig men jag älskar allt man man blanda egna nyanser med, haha.
   Applikationen är inte den lättaste ifall man inte van att jobba med läppstift. Man behöver definitivt använda en läppensel så de är nog inte de bästa att ta med sig i handväskan. Däremot håller de väldigt bra på läpparna, så klart slits de då man äter och dricker precis som vilket annat läppstift som helst. Som sagt behöver man endast den minsta lilla droppe för att få ett bra täckande resultat. Tarsen får en matt finish då de torkar. Ifall man har torra läppar kommer de att kännas rätt så torra på läpparna men jag brukar applicera lite genomskinligt läppbalsam ovan på och det funkar jätte bra utan att påverka färgen.
   Jag älskar Lip Tarsena utan tvekan, de är bara så otroligt mångsidiga och man kan framställa nästan vilken färg som helst. Det enda negativa enligt mig är att alla inte har lika bra pigmentering så det är lite att välja på må få, speciellt om man beställer dem via nätet som jag gjorde. De förpackningar jag har är den äldre versionen, alla fäger finns inte längre tillgängliga men jag beslöt mig för att göra färgprover ändå.


The OCC Lip Tars are like really concentrated liquid lipsticks, just like the description says lipstick in the form of lip gloss. You only need the tiniest little bit to get a good opaque color, however the amount you need might vary depending on which color you are using. The Lip Tars come in 40 different colors and the best thing is that you can mix them together to get the exact color you want! How good isn't that? I suppose I still a bit like a child, I love all products you can mix to create a custom color, haha.
   The application isn't the easiest unless you are used to working with lipsticks. You definitely will need to use a lip brush with this product so it's not the most suitable to bring with you in your handbag. However, the last very long on your lips so they aren't too high maintenance. Of course drinking and eating will make them fade quicker just like with any other lipstick.
   You only need the tiniest little droplet to cover both lips. After applying you should let the color dry to make it last longer. It will dry to a matt finish so if you don't have the most moisturized lips it can be somewhat drying. What I sometimes do is that I apply a clear lip balm on top and it works great without altering the color.
   I truly do love these Lip Tars, they are so versatile and you can basically create which ever color you want. The only downside is that all of the colors aren't equally opaque, it's kind of a hit and miss especially if you order online like I did. Since I bought my Lip Tars they have changed packaging and some colors have been discontinued but I decided to give you guys swatches anyway.

Jag var lite besviken över att både Tarred & RX båda var rätt så skira och vattniga.
I was really disappointed in both Tarred & RX because both of them are quite sheer and watery.
