Valentine's Day

Jag är inte det största fan av Valentine's Day, Alla Hjärtans dag eller Vändagen. Känner att det mer av en amerikans högtid och allt för kommersiell. Det är ju nästan om den är skapad för få folk att konsumera ännu mera, och nej jag är inte bitter, haha. Därför har jag skapat en överdriven & överdådig Alla Hjärtans Dags look.

I'm not the biggest fan of Valentine's Day. I feel like it almost created just to get people to buy more stuff, to the benefit of stores. Also it's more of an American holiday and w don't celebrate it as much here in Finland. Anyway I created a Valentine's Day look that is over the top and not that wearable just to represent this, haha.

Grey Smokey Eye

Vanligtvis brukar jag inte använda speciellt mycket grå skuggor men nu på senare tiden har jag börjar experimentera utanför min "comfort zone", d.v.s. utanför i princip alla bruna skuggor. I denna look är det bara en skugga som dominerar och det är en av mina favoriter från Make Up Store, nämligen Velvet.

Usually I don't use that much grey in my makeup looks but lately I've been venturing outside my "comfort zone, .i.e. every shade of brown. In this look I've mainly used one shadow and I just so happens to be my favorite Make Up Store eyevshadow in Velvet.

Tusen och en natt

Idag gjorde jag en sminkning inspirerad av arabkvinnor. De har sjukt snygg makeup och är verkligen inte rädd att använda sig av färger, så försökte mig på något liknande. Denna look kan också passa till Halloween om man vill klä ut sig till t.ex. Scheherazade från Tusen och en natt.

Today I created a look inspired by Arab women. I just love their bold eye makeup and I admire how they incorporate a lot of bright beautiful colors. This look could also double up as a Halloween look if you e.g. wanted to dress up like Scheherazade from "One Thousand and One Nights".
