Wihoo, because it's officially spring now it will soon be summer! During the summer I prefer to use less makeup but more colors, if that makes any sense. Orange is a color that I keep coming back to and keep using every summer, it just looks so good with blue eyes and tanned skin. I also feel like orange is such a versatile color, you can use a lighter orange lightly swept over the entire lid during the day and spice up a classic brown smokey eye with a more vibrant shade for a hot summer night out. Here I am going to show you my favorite orange shadows and some bases that makes them even more intense.

Make Up Store High Tech Lighter in Venus, Mac Paint Pot in Rubenesque & NYX Jumbo Shadow Pencil in Gold |
Venus & Rubenesque have more orange / peachy tones while the NYX one is more of a dark gold color, but that one really brings out the pretty orange tones as well. I recommend to use a primer like Urban Decay Primer Potion or Too Faced Shadow Insurance under all three. Although you might not need it under Mac Paint Pots, but I usually get pretty oily lids so I use it just in case.
